Quatre-vingts finissants du cégep et du secondaire participeront aux entrevues nationales de la Fondation Boursiers Loran. Ces entrevues auront lieu à Toronto, le 5 et 6 février.

Nous avons reçu plus de 4 200 candidatures cette année. Environ 400 étudiants ont passé des entrevues dans 22 villes différentes à travers le pays. Les 80 finalistes furent sélectionnés en fonction de leur détermination, leur engagement envers la communauté ainsi que leur potentiel en leadership. À la suite des entrevues nationales, nos intervieweurs sélectionneront 30 Boursiers Loran.

La Fondation Boursiers Loran a remis plus de 28 millions $ aux jeunes leaders polyvalents et engagés sous forme de bourses d’études de premier cycle depuis 1988. Tenable à 25 universités participantes, la Bourse Loran est d’une valeur allant jusqu’à 100 000 $ répartie sur quatre ans, incluant une allocation annuelle, une dispense des frais de scolarité, un jumelage de mentorat, du financement pour les stages d’été, des retraites annuelles ainsi qu’une expédition en plein air. Les finalistes qui ne sont pas sélectionnés comme Boursiers Loran sont admissibles à recevoir une bourse de finaliste de 3 000 $.
